Adobe has announced the launch of Adobe Air 2.5. Air 2.5 is software that allows flash-based applications to run on Android, RIM and Samsung smart TVs.
The new software will be made available in 2011 although the Adobe annual MAX conference will have AIR 2.5 on show soon.
The AIR 2.5 framework is a step up from Flash in that it can connect up to more services on your device such as accelerometers, GPS and other sensors. It also works with multi-touch gestures.
The software will run on Windows, Linux, Android, RIMs PlayBook, and iOS.
We’ll get more details as they arrive.
