Angry Birds for Android in beta form was launched just last week. Talk Android managed to get an exclusive interview with the developers of the hit game to ask a few questions about the Android version of the game and when we can expect it.
The good news is that the we can expect to see the final release of the game in the next 2 – 3 weeks. For now though, if you have managed to get the Beta version, you’ll just need to make do with the 15 demo levels and see if you can get three stars on each level.
As well as announcing the release date in the interviews, Rovio (the developers of Angry Birds) were asked about compatibility problems with certain Android handsets. One problem highlighted was that the game is not compatible with devices that have a QVGA screen. This includes devices like the Wildfire.
Good news is that Rovio are not leaving the Wildfire out with it’s QVGA screen as they are actually working on making the game compatible. Another problem found was with the Hero having a bit of lag. This problem is also being worked on and the developers expect to have as many as possible devices compatible in 2 – 3 weeks time.
It’s generally all good news except the few more weeks of waiting… it’ll pass quick though!
