ASUS has launched the Eee EP121 Slate. This particular tablet device runs the Windows 7 operating system.
The screen measures 12.1 inches and has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The screen is also capacitive and has an electromagnetic panel that allows a stylus to be used for more precise input.
Inside the EP121 Tablet, it comes with either 2GB or 4GB of DDR3 memory. The processor running is an Intel Core i5. For storage, this particular slate comes with either a 32GB or 64GB SSD. For connectivity it has wireless 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0. USB ports are also available on the device as well as a flash card reader and mini HDMI output.
On the back of the Eee Slate is a 2 megapixel camera. for capturing pictures. Battery wise, the Eee Slate doesn’t perform the best out of tablets we have seen and lasts for about 2.4 to 4.5 hours depending on what connectivity you are using and how bright you have the screen set.
This model also comes with a Bluetooth keyboard should you not want to use the touchscreen for input.
Price wise, the 32GB model is $999 and the 64GB model is $1099 and both are available at Amazon.
