Last night, RIM introduced the BlackBerry PlayBook at a developers event. Already, Amazon has stepped up to the plate by announcing that the Amazon Kindle App will be made available.
It isn’t clear if Amazon has created the application yet or if they are just confident that it will launch along with the PlayBook early next year when it launches.
The PlayBook Kindle app works just like any other mobile Kindle app such as the iPad and Android. When downloading an eBook any device, you’ll be able to pick up from where you left off any device thanks to the WhisperSync technology that will also appear in the PlayBook.
The app of course will be free. Expect to see it sometime around the launch of the PlayBook.
