The Dell Adamo XPS has now gone on sale over at Dell in the US. The Adamo XPS is an ultra thin laptop measuring just 9.99mm thin. By using a unique design, Dell have managed to squash all the components needed in to a super slim shell where the keyboard fits neatly inside the reinforced display.
The Adamo XPS has a 13.4 inch screen that is in a widescreen format. Battery life for the laptop is 5 hours 17 minutes (claimed by Dell) and if that’s not enough you can opt for a larger battery with a 40WHr capacity.
Another of the unique features of the Dell Adamo XPS is the capacitive latch release which requires you simply glide your finger across a sensor to open up the laptop.
For connectivity the Adamo XPS has wireless 802.11a/g/n allowing for fast connectivity if connected to the correct router. Also, Bluetooth 2.1 can be found inside.
The laptop has a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor along with 4GB of RAM. As can be expected, the laptop runs Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit version) and has a 128GB SSD for storage.
