The external drive dock allows you to connect up your old harddrives to your computer temporarily. Once docked, the drive appears as a removable drive in Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
Connecting the external USB SATA drive dock to your PC is done by either a USB cable or an eSATA connector. The docking unit also allows drives to be hot swapped by pushing the button on the base. Two docks are available to choose from which are the single dock capable of holding 1 drive at a time, or the dual dock that is capable of holding 2.
