Mozilla has delayed the release date of Firefox 4 due to some technical glitches that are causing it to be a little buggy.
“Completing this work (on Firefox 4) is taking longer than initial estimates indicated as we track down regressions and sources of instability. As part of our commitment to beta users, we will not ship software before it is ready,”
When it does launch, the new web browser will have HTML5 support along with multitouch functions as well as being capable of using hardware acceleration for HD video.
We’ll track down a release date closer to the time, but don’t expect it till early next year now.
