The Garmin ASUS M10 is about to launch in Taiwan and the company are now taking pre-orders for the smartphone.
The Garmin M10 will run Windows 6.5.3 when launched. This particular version of Windows Phone has a thinner task bar along the top allowing for more space for applications to run.
Those who pre-order their phones now should receive them by February 6.
The phone it’s self costs $450 and included in the price you also get an extra battery or the option of a car holder to prop the phone up when using navigation.
Technical specs show the phone will have a 3.5 inch touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera, wireless, GPS, bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSDHC card slot. As this is a Garmin device the phone will come with Garmin navigation installed with the maps of Taiwan included.
The processor runs at 600MHz and is a Qualcomm 7227. The battery powering the device has a capacity of 1500mAh.
More details will follow if and when we see the phone leave Taiwan.
