BGR found details of the Google Nexus One and how it will be sold today. The Nexus One (N1) will only be sold by Google [GOOG] direct to consumers via the web.
Google, with support from T-Mobile, is scheduled to launch a new Android device in early January. The Google Android phone will be sold directly by Google via the Web.
Support for the device including troubleshooting and exchanges will be managed by Google and HTC. T-Mobile will offer service support including billing, coverage, features, and rate plans. In summary what this means is that you’ll buy the phone from Google direct and it will connect up to T-Mobile who will support billing, coverage and rate plans while google and HTC will manage problems with the hardware. Rumours are saying that T-Mobile might get to sell the phone direct around March 2010.
