Earlier this week Comex released the iPhone 4 jailbreak. Today, the iPhone Dev Team has released the iPhone 4 unlock that allows users to easily switch carriers.
The unlock comes thanks to ultrasn0w which has been updated to include support for unlocking the iPhone 4.
The version is 1.0-1 and it is compatible with the iPhone 4 baseband 01.59 along with the iPhone 3G and 3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04.
To get the unlock working you first need to jailbreak your iPhone 4. Once completed, load up Cydia and add the repo: repo666.ultrasn0w.com. Once done, you will be able to find and install ultrasn0w which will in turn, unlock your iPhone 4 (3G or 3GS) for use on any network that the phone is compatible with.
Let us know if you run in to any problems running the unlock. When testing the unlocks provided by the team over the last few months, we have found that the process is very simple.

I ordered iPhone unlock program but it did not work. I am able to jailbreak it and download the Cydia. But once it is done, the Ultrasn0w program does not unlock my iPhone. I bought my iPhone 4 in the US and it runs iOS 4.1
Unlock tools are free. You need to get a refund and wait for the original one to launch.
