Over the weekend the iPhone CoPilot satnav application became available costing just $34.99. TomTom iPhone has now been launched and is available on the iTunes store in the US costing $99.99.
Can the more expensive price of $99.99 beat the CoPilot application? I think possibly yes as TomTom is a big and trusted name when it comes to satellite navigation.
There are other downsides though in that if you want to mount the iPhone to the official car mount for TomTom then it will cost over $100 to do so although no official price has been given yet.
But, as it’s TomTom you are still getting a trusted app at a fairly decent price.
