Another document has leaked that shows the upcoming Motorola Droid 2 along with five details of what is included in the new smartphone rumoured to launch next week.
The first detail on the list confirms that Android 2.2 will be installed on the Droid 2 at launch. In that announcement we also see that up to 8 apps can multitask which is two above what the original Droid can handle.
The 1GHz processor and Android 2.2 combination is capable of loading webpages 40% faster than the original Droid and thanks to the latest OS, the Droid 2 can be used as a portable Wireless Hotspot.
The third point mentions that the keyboard is far better, which we have heard before from people who managed to get their hands on a test unit. As well as a physical keyboard, the Droid 2 also has a virtual keyboard built in called Swype which we have also used before. Having two decent keyboards on the device should make it handy for those who wish to swap and change depending on what they need to do.
8GB of on-board memory is confirmed along with a supplied 8GB microSD. The microSD card slot accepts up to 32GB sized memory cards.
Finally on to the last feature. Facebook and other social networking apps are also built in that allow you to always keep in touch with those around you.
Overall, it looks set to be another top seller. We should get the official announcement on the 10th August.
