Nokia has announced a new touchscreen phone called the Nokia 5250. The 5250 is a budget touchscreen device that follows along the lines of the 5800 theme of phones.
The technical specs reveal that the device has a 2.8 inch touchscreen that has a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. On the back is a 2 megapixel camera and it runs Symbian^1. Price wise, it will cost $145 USD when launched. This price is before tax or subsidies.
Other features include a microSD card slot, FM radio, Ovi Music support. When launched, it will come with Ovi Music Unlimited in some countries.
The battery on the device is good for 18 days of standby time along with seven hours of talk time or 24 hours of music.
The phone it’s self is entry level. Release dates are not known at the moment although we expect it will launch within the next couple of months.
