Panasonic has announced the Toughbook S9. The S9 is a rugged laptop that has a 12.1 inch screen. The keyboard has an optical drive underneath it that is accessed by lifting up the wrist wrest area.
The Toughbook S9 can drop from as much as 30 inches and will withstand about 220lbs of pressure on its top. Six ounces of liquid can also be dropped on it.
The laptop its self weighs just three pounds.
The technical specs are quite impressive too with it running a Core i5. The screen can display 1280 x 800 pixels and is backlit by LED.
Battery life on the Toughbook S9 is around 11 hours which is also an impressive achievement.
Price wise, it will cost $2500 when it launches.
