Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S class range of smartphones have reached 3 million shipments in the US. The worldwide total now stands at 7 million which is a fairly impressive number.
When we last announced the total shipments several weeks ago, they had just hit 5 million.
Samsung is also going to be launching other new smartphones in the Galaxy S Class series. Devices such as the Samsung Continuum has been announced and it appears that there will be others that use the same chip architecture mixed with the Super AMOLED screen used in the Galaxy.
We’ll find out more of their plans over the coming months, but I think its fair to say at this point that the Galaxy has done well for Samsung.
