Three has announced that it’s network will be selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab when it launches.
Three is the second network in the UK to announce it will be selling the Galaxy Tab. It follows the Vodafone network who added a registration page to it’s site late last week.
The actual price of the Android Tablet is not known just yet other than a few hints that unlocked it will be around the £620 – £680 price range depending on where you buy it.
Three will offering a few different plans which include a Voice/Data plan and a Data only plan.
The first is the SIM10 that costs £10/month, gives you 100 minutes, 2000 Three-to-Three minutes, 3000 text messages and 1GB of data.
The SIM 15 adds more minutes to the voice plan taking it up to 300 minutes.
For data only plans the cost for 1GB is £7.50 and for 5GB it’s £15 which isn’t a bad deal at all.
We expect that people will go for the data only plan although for just £2.50 a month you do get a second line essentially. The problem is getting used to a 7 inch tablet to make voice calls. We’ll leave that one up to you.
