Yesterday, we came across a video of the Samsung Galaxy Tab being used on a train in Australia. The tablet seen in Sydney was the seven inch version of the yet to be announced tablet device.
More pictures have been revealed of the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000. We believe this to be a separate model due to different language seen on the screen. The device is said to have a 1024 x 600 resolution screen along with a 3.2 megapixel camera. The case is made of a lightweight plastic.
It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will have a 3G connection built in along with a built in eBook app. According to the tipster who got their hands on the device, they say the eBook reader app is the best they have used on an Android device. Of course if you want to stick to Amazon Kindle, we assume that you’ll be able to install it as needed.
Other features include Wireless 802.11b/g/n as well as GPS and a forward facing camera. Processor wise it has a 1GHz ARM processor from what we have heard and also has a PowerVR SGX540 graphics accelerator.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is expected to launch later this year and we also expect it will be announced at IFA 2010.
