Sony Ericsson have launched a new page on their site called “whatsnext” which says “Sometimes there’s a thin line between the extraordinary and the magical. Did we cross it? Watch this space on November 3rd.”.
The page indicates a product launch that is more than likely going to be the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 android based phone.
The X10 was previously known as the X3 or Racheal and has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor along with an 8 megapixel camera, HSPA and large touchscreen.
It was expected last week that the Xperia X10 would be announced soon due to the all the leaks as well as it being spotted publicly at an event somewhere.
The tipster who sent in the information over to SlashGear says….
According to the source code of the teaser page, the stylized infinity symbol at the top is the Rachael Infinity symbol, and likely refers to Sony Ericsson’s home-grown UI which we first saw demonstrated back in July. Like HTC’s work with Sense, Rachael offers easier access to social networks and other communications, with a gesture-based interface.
Lets wait and see what information Tuesday next week brings to us about a new product. Hopefully we do see the X10 officially.
