AT&T [T] has announced that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be landing on AT&T as of August 15.
When launched, the Xperia X10 will cost $149.99 which includes a two-year service agreement on the minimum smartphone dataplan.
Technical spec wise, it has a 4 inch screen along with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. GPS is built in along with an 8.1 megapixel camera with smile and face detection. An LED flash can be found on the back also.
Included with the device is 8GB of on-board memory and Sony Ericsson has also included a 2GB microSD card with the X10. The microSD card slot can accept up to a 32GB capacity card.
From what Engadget report, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will come supplied with Android 1.6 on-board which seems a shame really considering Android 2.2 is now being pushed out to older smartphones. Hopefully SE will release an OTA update someday soon for the X10 to bring it up to speed.
When available the X10 will be up for pre-order over on the AT&T website.
