Spotify has now been released for Symbian based smartphones. By launching Spotify for Symbian phones, they have opened up to a huge market. Previously the service was only available for iPhone and Android phones.
Just like other versions of the software on mobile phones, Spotify requires that you are a premium member of their service to use the mobile app. Premium service is charged at £9.99/month and gives you access to a huge catalogue of music that can be listened to either on or off-line. As well as benefiting from higher bit-rates on your computer you also do not hear any ads on the service… just the music you want to listen to.
Symbian Spotify will work on any of the following Symbian handsets, which is quite a vast range of phones. To get Spotify on your phone visit this page and enter your mobile phone number. You’ll then receive a text message with download details.
