The Square mobile payment system took a bit of a break earlier this year due to a few problems with the fraud prevention infrastructure.
We now hear that the issues have been resolved, or are about to be resolved and that the Square payments system will be launching again late summer this year.
The device it’s self is a small square unit that attaches to an iPhone. The small square is capable of scanning credit cards so that transactions can be quickly and easily be made in stores.
We’ll follow this one over the next few weeks to see how progress goes as the system when demoed looked great.
