Toshiba has launched a new tablet called the WT310/C over in Japan. The new tablet/slate runs the Windows 7 Professional operating system and has been made specifically for the business and enterprise markets.
Technical specs show the device has an 11.6 inch screen that has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The display is multi-touch and can also adjust its brightness automatically. It runs an Oak Trail Atom Z670 chip that is clocked at 1.5GHz. This is a single-core processor.
For storage, it uses SSD that as standard comes with a 64GB capacity. It has 2GB of RAM and for connectivity it has 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.
The tablet has a couple of camera with 3MP on the back and 2MP on the front. The actual release date will be in the next couple of weeks although pricing is not yet available for the device. There are no details on it being launched in other countries.
