The Apple iPad only allows videos to play natively that have been processed through iTunes. If you copy other video formats to the iPad, they are not recognised.
This new app is called CineXPlayer and it allows you to play a number of formats on your iPad. To get it working you use iTunes File Sharing where you can easily drop files in to a folder to be copied on to the iPad. Once copied over, the videos (in most formats) can successfully play.
It’s a handy app to install and one that Geeky Gadgets thinks might not last long and be unapproved by Apple [AAPL]. If you want it (it’s free) then grab it now from here.
CineXPlayer Features
-Transfer your Xvid movies to your device instantly (no conversion needed)
-Play your movies anywhere, anytime – even when you have no Internet connection (in a train, a car, a planeĀ¦)
-Enjoy the full quality and cinema experience
– Full Resume Function
– Swipe to Delete (to manage movies)
