Yahoo! has pushed out a new update for Yahoo! Messenger on the iPhone. The Messenger update brings a number of features to the iPhone such as the ability to make video calls from iOS to iOS, iOS to PC or iOS to Android devices.
Voice calls have also been added to the service which allows you to call friends on a PC or other supported devices. The ability to make voice calls to landlines and mobiles is also available (in various countries) although this eats in to the minutes of your Yahoo! account it used.
Multitasking has been enabled on the app so that you can leave it running in the background if needed.
To get it working with the above features, you’ll need an iPhone 4 or 3GS running iOS 4.1. If using a 3GS you wont be able to make video calls for obvious reasons.
Full details of the app can be found in the iTunes store.

Pretty cool that they ‘extended’ the FaceTime, and just did their own thing with it.
That’s great. I’ve get familiar with Yahoo Messenger for a long time. Its appearance is realy cool. But the voice call is not pretty good as in PC, I don’t know why.
I can’t see the dial pad in yahoo messenger I can’t make calls
