Just a week ago, the Beatles came to Apple iTunes. Within the first week of launch it is now indicated that over 2 million Beatles tracks have been downloaded.
As well as shifting 2 million tracks, almost half a million albums were also sold according to Rolling Stone. Each album in the UK costs £10.99 with each track costing 99 pence.
For those not getting the single tracks or albums, you have the option of paying £125 to get the complete collection. It isn’t known how many of the box sets were sold just yet.
Did you end up buying any Beatles tracks? or did you get fed up of waiting and just rip the CDs?
