Adesso SlimTouch Wireless Keyboard

It is called the WKB-4000UV and uses the 2.4GHz RF band to allow it to function up to 30 feet away from the receiver.

pandroidThis phone is an android powered desktop phone. It’s build by Cloud Telecomputers and is named Glass. It features an 8 inch touchscreen that allows you to manage incoming calls.

With the Glass being android based it can pack in a bunch of apps such as visual voicemail, a calendar, SMS as well as email. You are not just restricted to those apps though as there are custom apps appearing especially for this phone. [Read more…]

NVIDIA Ion IdeaPad S12 Waiting for Windows 7 Launch

Lenovo-Idea-Pad-S12A few months back, Lenova announced the IdeaPad S12 netbook that was going to run the NVIDIA Ion chip set. We now hear that they have delayed shipping of the unit as they are waiting for Windows 7 to be launched. As Windows 7 is literally around the corner the good news is that the netbook/laptop should be shipping by the end of this month.

The IdeaPad S12 runs an Intel Atom N270 processor and uses the NVIDIA GeForce 9400 graphics chip. This particular model with these specs will cost more than a standard version running just the Intel Atom processor. [Read more…]

Nuts and Bolts iPhone Stand

nuts-and-bolts-iPhone-dockA number of custom iPhone docks have been created over the last year. The next one is the Nuts and Bolts dock. It is literally built from a bunch of nuts and large bolt through the middle.

Garmin Asus Nuvifone’s Going to AT&T

M20-G60Garmin-Asus have confirmed that the M20 and G60 are finally being launched in the US and will be sold on the AT&T network sometime soon. So far the phones have only recently been made available, after several months of delays, over in Taiwan, Hong Kong and countries from that side of the globe.

No information has been given yet on a European launch but I expect it will be sometime this year. [Read more…]

Archos Android Tablet Coming Soon

Video to Appear in Magazines Next Month

Entertainment-MagOn September 18th a magazine in the US will show the first video advertisement by using a small slim mobile phone sized screen embedded in to a page of the magazine. The video ads will show up in the Entertainment Weekly magazine and show a run of Pepsi commercials to users reading.

The video ads are activated when the page is turned and the screens have a chip capable of storing up to 40 minutes of video with 70 minutes of battery life. Batteries in the screens are rechargeable. [Read more…]

LG GD910 Wrist Watch Phone Launching August 27

LG-GD910-Wrist-Watch-PhoneOrange have announced the official details of it’s launch of the LG watch phone (GD910). It will go on sale August 27th and cost £500 for pay as you go customers (non-contract). It appears that stock will be limited as Orange have restricted sales to just 1 per customer.

The GD910 will go on sale at 9am at the Bond Street store in London. If you can’t make it then sometime in September the LG watch phone will be made available in the Orange online store. [Read more…]

Money Origami – StarWars and Star Trek

Starwars-Money-OrigamiCheck out these cool origami models made from money. The creator, Won Park, made each of the models using US notes. Unfortunately I can find no downloadable instructions like he made for the fish model which can be found here.

Varta Digital USB Battery Charger

varta-digital-rechargerThe Varta Digital battery charger is a device that acts as a normal battery charger in that you plug it in to the wall to charge AA and AAA batteries. However, it also has a 12V car adapter so that you can charge batteries on the go. To make even more useful the Varta also has a USB port that allows you to use your PC to charge the batteries.
