Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 Announced

Just a couple of days ago, Microsoft [MSFT] officially launched Windows Phone 7. The new operating system was also listed along side 9 smartphones that would be launching in various parts of the world.

The Dell Venue Pro is one of those devices. It features a slide down QWERTY keyboard. This particular phone was originally spotted as the Dell Lightning, but for various reasons, switched to being called the Venue Pro at launch.

The Venue Pro has a large 4.1 inch AMOLED display. On the back a 5 megapixel camera can be found. Inside, it runs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. [Read more…]

iOS 4.2 Beta 3 Download Now Available

Apple [AAPL] has released the iOS 4.2 Beta 3 download to developers signifying the release date is getting closer for iPad owners.

The Beta 3 download is available now for developers and can be grabbed from the developers site by logging in with your username and password.

The Beta 3 of iOS 4.2 brings a few new features such as SMS ringtones (for iPhone users) although the AirPlay button that was found in previous betas of 4.2 has now been removed. [Read more…]

Sony Google TV Now Official

Sony has officially announced the new range of Sony TVs, powered by Google TV.

As expected, the new TVs come in several sizes which starts off with a 24 inch called the NSX-24GT1 priced at $599.99.

Next up is the 32 inch model called the NSX-32GT1 priced at $799.99 and then the 40 inch model NSX-40GT1 priced at $999.99 and finally on to the largest 46 inch model called the NSX-46GT1 priced at $1399.99. [Read more…]

CDMA iPhone 4 Might go to India – Exclusivity in Germany and Holland Ends

As we get closer to the new year, we are hearing even more rumours about the possibilities of a CDMA iPhone 4 launching. This time the rumours indicate that India could get the new device early next year.

We also hear today that Germany and Holland will not have an exclusive carrier any more shortly as Deutsche Telekom has lost its exclusivity on the iPhone which has now opened up to Vodafone and O2 being able to sell the phone in the next few months. [Read more…]

We had revealed more recently that the HTC Trophy will be coming to the UK on the Vodafone network, but If you would rather not have to worry about an 18-24 month contract or pay through the nose each month for your glorious and lovely new handset then fear not.

Mac to get syncing with Windows Phone 7

Back in the day you may well remember such television ads ‘stating’ (used loosely) the main differences between a Mac and PC and why you should buy one over the other, this went on for literally years. Even before release day, the PSPgo suffered from bad publicity mainly due the early announcement of allowing the gamer to only being able to download content with Sony doing away with the UMD drive altogether.

HTC Desire HD Orders at T-Mobile UK Now Available

T-Mobile in the UK is now accepting orders for the HTC Desire HD over here in the UK.

The device is available for free on some of the higher end contracts of £40/month and above. For those wanting a more mid-range contract of about £25 – £30/month you can expect to pay between £90 and £200 for the device depending on how many minutes you choose and the length of the contract (ie, 18 or 24 months). It looks like T-Mobile is about to push out an OTA update for the new T-Mobile G2 that launched in the last couple of weeks.
