Microsoft has announced that the Windows Phone Mango (7.5) release date will be sometime within the next 1 to 2 weeks. In a fairly short blog post the company confirmed that partner companies around the world have been working hard over the last few months to get the new update ready for launch.

Mobile Gmail Gets Multiple Sign-In Service
Gmail for mobile has received a few handy updates today. The first of these is a new multiple sign-in service that lets users sign in to more than one account on a single device. This has been available on the desktop version for a while now, but this is the first time we’ve seen it on mobile.
Photo Posting Via Text Message Announced by Twitter
A new service has been announced by Twitter that enables you to send a photo by text message. Twitter now allows you to attach a photo to an SMS message and then send that (as an MMS) to Twitter who then post it on your wall. The service is available on several carriers around the world (listed below).
New iPhones Coming in October Says Al Gore
Al Gore has commented that new iPhones (note it’s plural) will be coming in October. This could be seen as reinforcing the rumours that two models will be introduced (iPhone 4S and iPhone 5) although it could just mean new iPhones as in 16GB/32GB black/white are coming in the form of the iPhone 5. For those who don’t know Al Gore and what he might know, he is an Apple board member.
Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Could Arrive on Vodafone Tomorrow
The Vodafone group is expected to begin the roll out of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango tomorrow (September 21). The roll out will cover all the network by the end of the month from what we have heard today.
External Thunderbolt HD Launches
After a few months of waiting we now have the first external hard drive launch that is Thunderbolt compatible. The drive comes from LaCie and comes in a few different capacities of 1TB, 2TB or a 500GB SSD model.
Google Wallet Officially Announced
Google Wallet has been officially announced today. The new service, which we have seen before, allows you to use your NFC equipped Android smartphone to pay for products. At the moment the launch is exclusive to the Sprint network in the US which means that any other variation of the Nexus S currently isn’t usable for now.

More Hints At Apple Releasing iPhone 5 and iPhone 4-plus
The rumour of Apple releasing two new iPhone models in the next few weeks has surfaced again. We now hear reports from J.P.Morgan that suggests Apple [AAPL] will release an iPhone 5 as well as what it referes to as an iPhone 4-plus.
The iPhone 5 is expected to be the big launch here which is expected to have a complete redesign with rumours also hinting at a slightly larger screen and a metalic back with tapered edges.
The new iPhone 5 stands to be based on the iPad 2?s A5 processor or a newer A6 version. We also expect 1GB of RAM to increase memory access times. Other improvements are increased battery life due to advancement in battery technologies, the printed circuit board (PCB), the touch screen, and LCD power consumption metrics.
Samsung to Block iPhone 5 Launch in Korea
The patent problems between Apple and Samsung are continuing to go ahead with details today that hint at Samsung in Korea beginning proceedings to get the iPhone 5 blocked in Korea when it launches. Although they do not know the details of the iPhone 5 just yet, they will attempt to have the courts rule that Apple remove the telecommunications features of the device and sell it as an iPod touch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 WiFi Pricing Revealed for US
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 WiFi model has received pricing over in the US. The price for the 8.9 inch WiFi models will be $469 for the 16GB model and $569 for the 32GB version.
Leaked iPhone 5 Shot Reveals Apple A5 Processor
Some images leaked today reveal (perhaps confirm) that the iPhone 5 could have an Apple A5 processor. The shot doesn’t clarify which iPhone will get the chip as we’ve heard that both an iPhone 5 and iPhone 4plus could be made, but either way if the picture is real it does confirm a few things about the processor.
