Three in the UK has now revealed pricing for the iPhone 4S. It appears that they are selling out of pre-orders fast though as already the 16GB model will only be available in store. At the time of writing this the highest plans for the 32GB and 64GB models were also available for in store collection.

If you are in the UK and want an iPhone 4S direct from Apple to be delivered, there’s now a 1 – 2 week wait on pre-orders. We’re not sure how Apple [AAPL] has allocated stock between carriers and the company but it also doesn’t come as a surprise that demand is high.

HTC has announced the Sensation XL smartphone. This particular model comes at the same time as another device also announced by HTC. The HTC Sensation XL is launching tomorrow and has a 4.7 inch screen that is Super LCD and has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The device is also a Beats Audio device and carries the logo on the back which makes it good choice for this in to music.

One of the early problems with the Google Android operating system was that the company pushed out a lot of updates quite quickly. This meant that each time a new device came out it often had a new version of an OS installed but that some older devices were stuck on older versions. Google [GOOG] is now slowing down on how often it pushes out updates for Android and since making that change you can now see the older Android 1.X and early 2.x devices slowly getting smaller on the graph. One of the updates on the new iPhone 4S is the camera. It now has an 8 Megapixel sensor that is backlit and has modified optics to capture more light. The results are now available on the Apple website showing the standard images that were seen yesterday in the iPhone 4S announcement.
iOS 5 GM Released to Developers

Apple [AAPL] has just launched the latest version of iOS 5 to developers. This time it’s iOS 5 GM that launches. We haven’t downloaded yet, but when installed we expect to see the final version that will launch next week. At this point the iOS 5 update is quite final although there’s a slim chance a small bug could find its way in there.
