HP has announced the Folio 13 Ultrabook. It measures 0.7 inches thick and weighs 3.3 points which makes it a little heavier than the MacBook Air. One of the highlights of the Folio 13 is that it has a battery that has enough juice to power the ultrabook for up to 9 hours. These figures are of course theoretical and real world usage is often different.

Nokia Confirms Windows 8 Tablets and Higher-End Lumia Smartphones
Nokia has somewhat confirmed that they will be launching a Windows 8 Tablet next year as well as another Lumia smartphone that will have higher specs than the current Lumia 800.

iTunes Match Launches
Apple [AAPL] has released a new version of iTunes that now sees the launch of iTunes Match. What this new feature does is scans your library for music that you have and then matches it and uploads it so that you can play the songs on any device you have connected to your Apple ID.
BlackBerry London Spotted – Could be Running the BBX OS
The device below is believed to be a mockup of what the next generation of BlackBerry smartphones will become. This particular model is believed to be the BlackBerry London and from what we understand, it will run the BBX OS when it launches next year.
iPhone 4 and 3GS Still Best Selling Phones in the US
A report created comments that the iPhone 4 and 3GS are at the top of the list for the best selling smartphones in the US. The iPhone 4 is in top place followed by the 3GS which is then followed by the HTC EVO 4G, Motorola Droid 3 and on to the Samsung Intensity II. The numbers are from the 3rd quarter and also indicate that smartphones now account for 59 percent of sales which is an increase of 13 percent from the previous quarter.
Square Processing $11 Million Per Day
Square the mobile payments company has announced that it is now processing $11 million USD in payments each day. This is an increase of $7 million per day based on numbers from July this year.
Acer A510/A511 Tegra 3 Android Tablet Confirmed
Acer will be launching a new Tegra 3 based tablet in the new year. Two models have been identified which are the A510 and A511. The specs show that they will have the quad-core Tegra 3 processor inside and that they will run the Google Android operating system, we assume Ice Cream Sandwich.
First Generation iPod nano Gets Recalled by Apple
Apple [AAPL] has issued a recall for the first gen iPod nano. The reason for it is due to problems with the device that in some very rare cases had problems with overheating. Batteries and heat don’t go together too well often causing explosions. Apple seems to have made the best choice here although the original nano came out five years ago.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is coming to O2 in the UK this month according to the coming soon page on the O2 website. Although the device is listed on the mentioned page, the link for more details is actually broken and just loads up a 404 page. We assume that all the details are being put together now for it.
O2 4G LTE Network Trial Coming to London – Speeds up to 100Mbps
O2 is rolling out a trial of a 4G LTE network in London. The project will run from now till summer 2012 and will allow a number of individuals and businesses to test and see what mobile broadband runs like at 4G LTE speeds.
