iOS 5 has a hidden feature that when enabled, allows you to use an Android-style autocorrect bar above the virtual keyboard. Just like the hidden panorama camera feature found the other day, the autocorrect bar is also found within the code of iOS and is simply just switched off. This was found by Sonny Dickson.

Adobe Flash for TV Also Halted
Yesterday we were informed by Adobe that they were halting work on Adobe Flash for Mobile and instead they are to be working on HTML5 content and Adobe AIR content. We now hear that Adobe is also stopping work on Flash for TVs.
HTC Ville with Sense 4.0 and Ice Cream Sandwich Leaked
What we are looking at here is a new smartphone that will soon be released called the HTC Ville. BGR managed to get some details about the device including some of the technical specs.
The HTC Ville is expected to be thinner than the iPhone 4S and measure less than 8mm at the widest point.
Windows Phone Tango Video Chat App Goes Live
Windows Phone now has a video chat app thanks to a new app called Tango. The app allows second generation Windows Phone smartphones to be used for making video calls.
The application works on devices such as the Samsung Focus S and the HTC Radar as well as others.
Windows 8 Tablet from Samsung Coming in 2012 2H
Samsung will be launching a range of new tablets in the second half of 2012. The new tablets will run the Windows 8 operating system which is scheduled to launch in 2012.
The full details of what hardware will be used are not known at the moment although some hints of reusing some tweaked and altered versions of the Series 7 computer have been mentioned.
Nokia Maps Available for Windows Phone Devices Unofficially
When Nokia announced Nokia Maps for the Windows Phone platform, it was only going to be made available for the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710. This is still officially the case although XDA Developers has managed to get hold of the XAP installation file and has made it available to install on any Windows Phone device that is unlocked.
Adobe Drops Flash Player for Mobile and Switches to HTML5
The report from earlier today about Adobe killing Flash for mobile has now been made official by Adobe. The company is stopping development and support for Flash on mobile although it will continue to support it on the PC.
Nokia Lumia 800 Launching SIM Free on November 16
The SIM free version of the Nokia Lumia 800 will be going on sale on November 16 here in the UK. This contradicts what was said earlier today by Clove who had said the SIM free version would be shipping early next year.
Toshiba AT200 Tablet Delayed till 2012
It appears that the Toshiba AT200 tablet will not be launching until January 2012. The new slim tablet was expected to launch sometime this year although confirmation on the official Facebook page says otherwise.
NVIDIA Tegra 3 Officially Announced
NVIDIA has finally made an announcement about the NVIDIA Tegra 3 and has made it official. The new chip follows on from the Tegra 2 and is a quad-core processor that was previously known as the Kal-El.
iPhone 4S Production Slows Down Due to Possible Shortages or Low Sales
A new report indicates that the iPhone 4S might not be doing as well as initially thought. Although the iPhone 4S had record sales at launch, it seems that after that, sales have dropped down as Apple is believed to have cut production for the next quarter down by 10 to 15 percent.
Firefox 8 Download Now Available
Mozilla has launched Firefox 8 and the download is now available. Although those who knew how could get FF8 a couple of days ago via the Mozilla FTP server, it is now available to all on the main Firefox download page. New features include Twitter search integration amongst several other things we’ll mention below.
