Microsoft Surface unofficially priced at £648 for entry level version

We doubt that these prices are real, but a Swedish retailer has begun displaying the Microsoft Surface prices on its website. The company begin with the entry model at a hefty £648 (about $1000 USD) at the current exchange rate with prices going up to just over £1200 for the most expensive model.

Microsoft [MSFT] is unlikely to have revealed prices to retailers just yet and we’ve also heard that it is only selling through its own official channels, so the prices are probably just “best guess” albeit quite a bad guess hopefully.

Adobe Flash can still run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean – with some tweaking

Recently, Adobe announced that Flash for mobile will no longer be supported. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich was the last mobile OS to get an official build of Flash for it. Luckily (for those who really want Flash), there is a way to get mobile Flash running on Jelly Bean.

There are now 650,000 in the iTunes App Store – $5.5bn paid to developers

Apple has hit another impressive milestone recently. The company has announced that there are now a massive 650,000 apps in the app store. What makes the announcement even more impressive is that $5.5 billion USD has been paid out to developers since the app store first opened.

Speedier Facebook App Created by Former Apple Engineers Coming Next Year

The current Facebook app for iOS is a tad slow and cumbersome to use. It does its job but not too well in my opinion. We heard rumours last month that Facebook was giving the app an overhaul to make it more speedy. We now hear today that Facebook has hired several ex Apple engineers to work on the app which will now be launching next year with a complete overhaul.

X-Cap Automatic Lens Cover for DSLRs – Video

The X-Cap is a lens cap for DSLR and other similar cameras that replaces the manual lens cover with one that is more commonly found on a point and shoot camera. The lens cap fits on the end of the lens and has automatic covers that close up when you switch the camera off.

Samsung Galaxy Note Coming Soon to T-Mobile

iCloud Now has 150M Users

As well as announcing all the numbers for Mac, iPad and iPhone sales in the quarterly earnings call yesterday, Apple also announced that 25 million new users had signed up to iCloud taking the total of users up to 150 million.

Motorola XOOM to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update Soon

Motorola XOOM users will soon be getting an OTA update made available that will update the device to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Although the XOOM isn’t a Nexus device, it has still received every major update since its launch last year. Originally when launched it ran Android 3.0 Honeycomb and was then updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

iPhone / Android Wireless Access Points Banned at Olympics 2012

A number of items have been banned at the Olympics 2012. A lot of them are understandable such as laser pointers, phone jammers, radio scanners and dangerous items including knives and guns. New Super Skinny ATM Skimmers Found in Europe

Somewhere in Europe the Police have found skimmers installed on various ATM machines. What makes this different to the usual skimmers found is that these particular units housed super skinny devices that fit inside the card slot on the device.
