Apple [AAPL] posted third quarter results last night along with all the numbers of how many of each device sold. In total the company saw 26 million iPhone activations along with 17 million iPad activations as well as 4 million Macs sold.
Some of the other interesting numbers include a 28% growth on iPhone sales when compared to last year although compared to last quarter there was a drop of 4 million units. This is expected though with the new iPhone (6th gen) being rumoured to launch in the next couple of months. Many people will be holding off.
The iPod line is dropping in sales as well which seems to indicate more people are buying iPhones and iPads instead of a pure music dedicated device.
