The RuffStstem 840 is an embedded rugged PC that can function in harsh environments. Thanks to it’s strong build it can operate down to -40 degrees Celsius and up to +75 degrees C which is quite impressive alone.
The RuffSystem rugged PC has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor inside and also has two gigabit speed Ethernet ports. A VGA output is to be found on the casing along with four USB 2.0 connectors as well as 4 serial ports and 1 parallel port.

This product has been available in limited quantities for a few months, but is now in Mass Production, available, and shipping.The product is also available with D38999 MIL-STD connectors.
Shock testing included 18-pulses, 6-axis @ 40Gs, in addition to simulated torpedo strike!
Please note that the operating temperature range is with the processor at full speed, WITHOUT speed-step throttling!
