Samsung Galaxy Note users are now getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The update went live and was made available to Note users as an OTA package. The upgrade is 319MB in size and includes the new TouchWiz interface.
This particular screenshot above shows a device from the Netherlands getting an update although we’ve heard that some users in Germany are also able to update although they are currently updating via Kies on a PC.
Other features included in the update package are an S Note app, an S Memo widget and several other apps from what is called the Premium Suite which is a package designed for devices which can utilise a stylus for input.
The full roll-out isn’t known at the moment but it’s typical for companies to roll updates out over the course of a week or two so that problems can be quickly rectified as well as servers keeping downloads streaming at a good rate.
