Earlier today a picture of the HTC Runnymede was posted online. We now have a second picture that shows the back of the device as well as a side profile.
What we see is that the back has a fairly large camera lens along with a dual-flash and what looks to be a mic. The side profile shows quite a slim design although the camera didn’t quite fit in to the design as it can be seen protruding out a little. Overall, quite an impressive looking smartphone.
The specs from what we understand, show that it has Android 2.3 Gingerbread and that it has a single-core 1.5GHz processor. 768MB of RAM is included on the device as is 16GB or 32GB of storage. We suspect all the usual connectivity will be included such as WiFi and Bluetooth as well as a GPS, Compass and other types of sensors commonly found in smartphones these days.
Expect pricing and release dates to be unveiled soon. We are not sure if the device will be announced at the same time as the other HTC smartphones next week, but we’ll keep an eye out just in case HTC decide to provide the details at that event.
