The LG X3 is a quad-core smartphone that is scheduled to be launched in 2012. The device is expected to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when it launches and will have a large 4.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The device is expected to have a slim profile of under 9mm even with the new Tegra 3 chip and 21MBps HSPA (LTE also could be a possibility).
2012 looks like it will be an excellent year for smartphones with a number of quad-core devices rumoured to be launching. This list includes the Galaxy S III, HTC Edge/Endeavor as well as the next generation iPhone 5 and on to tablets, the iPad 3.
Although it is referenced as the LG X3 here, it will unlikely keep that name and will launch under a different title.
