Yesterday in London, the original Apple I computer sold. This particular model was one of 200 made in the beginning. When launched in 1976 it cost $666.66.
Yesterday, it fetched $210,000.
The person who managed to win the auction was a private collector called Marco Boglione who made the offer over the phone.
All he needs to do now is wrap it in a case and use it day to day. Somehow, I see it being locked away in storage for a few years till it gets resold for even more.
