Apple [AAPL] have also updated their Apple Mac Mini today. The new Mac Mini measures 2 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, 6.5 inches deep and weighs just 2.9 pounds.
The Mac Mini has a number of optional processors when buying it which include a 2.26GHz, 2.53GHz, 2.66Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor along with 3MB of on-chip L2 cache and a 1066MHz FSB. 2GB of RAM is standard on the MacMini although this can be upgraded to 4GB if needed.
Priced at $599 for the cheapest model you start off at that price with 2GB of RAM and the 2.26GHz processor. For storage you get a 160GB harddrive and for graphics, an NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor.
For $200 more ($799) you’ll get the 2.53GHz model along with 4GB of RAM, a 320GB harddrive and the same GeForce 9400M graphics chip.
Each of the models support wireless 802.11a/b/g/n for quick connectivity where available and they all come with Mac OS X Snow Leopard installed.
On the back of each unit you get plenty of connectivity options that includes 5 USB ports and a firewire port allowing a plethora of devices to be connected.
