Official details now launched about the Asus Eee T91 tablet netbook.
ASUS have listed their latest Eee PC on their website. It is named the Eee PC T91 and is a bit different to other Eee netbooks that you will have seen.
The Asus T91 is another netbook but rather then being just a netbook, it is also a tablet too making it a netbook tablet. It has an 8.9″ touchscreen and is powered by an Intel Z520 1.33GHz Atom Processor. 1GB of RAM can be found in the netbook along with an SSD with a 16GB capacity.
Battery life on the T91 netbook is about 5 hours due to the “Super Hybrid Engine” that boosts the battery life. An optional HSDPA module can be purchased too allowing it to go online over a mobile network. Wi-Fi and bluetooth are both included as well as a TV tuner and a GPS receiver.
Although the specs aren’t the best we have seen on a netbook it is still capable of running Windows XP Home edition and the Office suite of apps if you so wish. The built in GPS is also a very handy feature.
No price is available yet although rumours are that it will be $684 ish due to the UK price being £450.
