Boy Genius Report managed to get hold of a BlackBerry PlayBook to test and see what its all about.

Infinity Blade for the iPhone and iPad has now been launched. The game is created by Epic Games and uses the new 3D engine to power the stunning graphics.

When Apple [AAPL] launched the new MacBook Air models recently, it was quickly reported on forums that the displays had a problem in some cases, with flickering. The temporary fix was to just close the lid down and reopen the lid which either put the MacBook Air to sleep, hence reloading it back up, or rebooting it. This kind of fix was just a temporary measure till Apple could get the drivers right.
Those drivers are now ready in an update and once installed, should fix those instances (perhaps rare instances) that this happens to your MacBook Air. [Read more…]
For those of you using a Windows based PC, ie it has XP, Vista or Windows 7 on it, you’ll now be able to use the Google Cloud Print service (the Beta version of it) to print a test page.
Cloud Print comes just ahead of the Chrome OS launch. What the service does is put all your printer drivers in the cloud which in turn, lets you print a document over the internet to your printer (or any printer you are authorised to print to). [Read more…]
Andy Rubin has confirmed on Twitter that each day, 300,000 Android phones are activated.
That’s a very impressive number. Only back in August of this year, Eric Schmidt announced that 200,000 were being activated daily which shows a huge increase in 4 months. [Read more…]
The Microsoft Kinect is selling very well for Microsoft [MSFT]. The company already announced recently that 2.5 million units had been sold within the first month. We now hear that in several markets around the world that this is leading to demand outweighing supply… ie, shortages of stock. [Read more…]
The Google Chrome OS netbook was announced yesterday in the shape of the Cr-48 testing device. We now hear that 60,000 of them are being prepared for the initial (perhaps complete) shipment to those who managed to get lucky and register for the beta.
The netbooks form part of the Chrome OS Pilot program that is about to launch in the US although no official release dates are known at the moment. [Read more…]
It looks like the Spotify US release date has been moved to 2011 now due to no licensing agreements being signed between the company and major music publishers. The release date was expected to squeeze in before the end of the year although it seems like this wont happen now.
Spotify currently runs in Europe and allows those users to either use a free version filled with ads, or pay £10/month (UK price) and listen without ads to almost any music track they want. [Read more…]
The HTC Knight was first heard of a while back. It has also been referred to as the HTC Speedy. We now find that some official pictures have been put online over at HTCPedia for you to have a scan through.
The device is a 4G WiMax phone that has a slide out landscape QWERTY keyboard. On the front is a forward facing VGA camera. The screen measures 3.7 inches. [Read more…]
Eldar Murtazin managed to somehow get hold of a Nokia X7. The Nokia X7 was first leaked a few weeks ago and at that point, it was revealed that it has four speakers and with it being in the XSeries of devices, it is also geared towards media.
Eldar wasn’t kind on the X7 it seems as the machine translation of some of his words converts to… “I do not like this device”. Other observations made, include the AT&T logo at the top of the device. [Read more…]
