A couple more pictures of the iPad 3 have leaked. The first one (pictured below) shows a front view of what is believed to be a Retina Display. The second (further below), shows some internal components as well as the glass from behind.
BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 Launches
RIM has just/finally launched a new operating system for the BlackBerry PlayBook. The long overdue update is now available and brings a number of new and most welcomed features to the tablet.
The new version is OS 2.0 and can be downloaded from Settings > Software Updates > Check for Updates. It’s an OTA update, so downloading and installing should be relatively a simple process.
Sony PS Vita Update Rolls Out Prior to Launch
The PS Vita isn’t on sale until tomorrow (Wednesday) in the US, but already, some users have managed to get their hands on one through various means. Generally, these are competition winners, those who work in the industry or just lucky people who took delivers a little early.
Microsoft SkyDrive Metro App for Windows 8 Detailed
Microsoft will be launching a SkyDrive App for Windows 8 later this year. The new app will have the ability to work on the desktop and keep in sync with a SkyDrive.com account online. When files are edited locally, they are then updated to the cloud version of the file (and vice-versa).
Amazon Kindle Could get a Colour 6inch eInk Screen
Some rumours are hinting that Amazon may have ordered a large amount of colour eInk screens. The source of information indicates that about 3 million screens per month might have been ordered and that the colour iInk screens will begin to ship in March. It is believed that these screens will be used in a new 6 inch Colour Kindle device.
Samsung Galaxy S III Could Be Announced on March 15
The Samsung Galaxy S III could be announced in just under a months time. The company will be holding an event on March 15 where they will announce the line-up of devices for 2012. We expect that the Galaxy S III will be included in that line-up.
Leaked iPad 3 and 2 Comparison Shows Thicker Device, Larger Taper
Some pictures have leaked which show what is believed to be an iPad 3. It isn’t clear of course, if the iPad shown here is a test model, or it if will be the final design. As always, we wont know until it is officially announced.
CloudOn for iPad Launches in the UK
CloudOn has been around for a couple of months now… in the US. In the last week it has now launched in the UK and brings Excel, Word and Powepoint to the iPad.
The application is free to download and when installed, it connects up to your DropBox account (also free) so that you can have easy access to your documents and spreadsheets whilst on the move.
New Windows 8 Logo Unveiled by Microsoft
Microsoft has unveiled a new logo for Windows 8. The design of the logo drops to just a single colour and has been designed to represent the new Metro interface that we have seen on Windows Phone 7 for a while now.

Apple has almost hit another milestone. Over the last few days a new counter has been put online that shows the current number of apps that have been downloaded. As can be seen by visiting this page, the counter has just over half a billion app downloads to go to reach the target.
iPad 3 Photo Hints at Slight Redesign of Tapered Edge
For what it’s worth, the iPad 3 might have a slight redesign. Some leaked pictures indicate that the tapered edge on the iPad 3 is similar to the iPad 2 although it is a little larger than the previous model. The device looks to have a more gradual tapered edge.
Samsung Galaxy Note LTE Arrives on AT&T
AT&T has launched the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Note on its network. The device has a price tag at $299.99 which requires a two-year agreement be signed. The device has a 5.3 inch screen that displays 1280 x 800 pixels. One of the key features of the Galaxy Note is the stylus that is used. The stylus is Wacom based and allows users to interact with the device and scribble notes on the screen on any part of the OS.
