This custom built laptop dock is for those who prefer (or need) to lay down while working. The dock can be adapted to any size of bed also. A video demonstration of the gliding dock can be found after the jump. The dock uses various parts such as aluminium runners, custom built wheels and pulleys.

HTC TyTN II
The TyTN II from HTC was released recently. Dave over at MobilityToday managed to get hold of one for review and first impressions are quite good. Some bad things noted are the battery being too low capacity even though GPS, 802.11, HSDPA can be found which means less time using the device. GPS is not configurable, although it does just work with out problems. On the good side there is a great screen which can tilt allowing for better viewing. There is a lot of ram packed in there. The camera is 3 megapixel. TomTom is installed and it has USB charging which is great news.
Dave has more details over on his site as well as a full review to be expected soon.
LG VX10000
Here is a leaked picture of LGs VX10000. It looks to be quite a cool phone having the qwerty keyboard which flips open. Rumors of some sort of sliding mechanism have also been mentioned. No release date has been given yet.

Sony Rolly
The Sony Rolly is a robotic toy which is actually a wireless speaker, audio player and has 1GB of internal memory. The Rolly will dance to the music. When listening to music you get about 5 hours of battery life. If you decide to stream music via Bluetooth then battery life drops to 4 hours 30 minutes. It is set to cost $350 when it hits Japan at the end of this month.
I am not sure if this will do well or not. It seems like an odd idea to have an MP3 player rolling around. I dont really get the point.

Griffin to Release more iPod Cases
Griffin have created a bunch of new cases for Apples new iPod designs. Cases for each of the iPod models can be found and they do look impressive. The reflect case which is pictured above does look nice. A similar reflect version is also available for the iPod touch. Check out the new selection of iPod goodies over at Griffin.
CTR-350 Cellular Travel Router
The CTR-350 can create a sercure WiFi hotspot from cell phones broadband connection. It allows several people to share the one connection and keep those who shouldnt have access out of the network. WEP or WPA can be used for encryption.
Mitsubishi i MIEV Sport – Concept
The iMIEV sport is a concept car from Mitsubishi. The car has a couple of interesting features such as a solar roof and two compact wind turbines in the front grill. These two features help increase the range of the car slightly by keeping the batteries more charged. Another feature to assist charging the batteries is a regenerative braking system which pushes charge back in to the batteries. The lithium-ion batteries are stored underneath the floor where the passengers sit.
The lighting on the car LED which allows for more energy to be conserved. To allow the car to run cooler inside the windows are heat absorbing so that less heat travels in to where the passengers sit.
Seems like a cool idea although I cannot say I like the look of it too much. If it can give the electrics that extra boost then all must be good.

Sonys Bendable OLED Screen
Here is another short video showing Sonys OLED screen which measures just 0.3mm thick and is very flexible. In this clip you will see the screen bending while video is being displayed. Also an announcement that OLED displays will be available this year in Japan.
Opal Concept Car
Opal have created a cool little concept car which runs by battery. It can do just over 60 miles on its lithium ion batteries and there is a small diesel engine which also can recharge them. With both working together you can get around 500 miles out of it. The engine is a 1.3L turbo diesel engine which can run up to 3200rpm. Another cool feature is the ability to store two segways in the back which are constantly on charge. When you arrive at your destination you just whip them out and cruise along.

USB Airplane Fan
This little plane is powered by USB. The propeller on the front acts as a fan to cool you down. There is no fear of it taking off due to it being connected via USB (and blowing the wrong way obviously).

MikroSol Solar RC Plane
MikroSol was built way back in 1995 and was capable of flying at 4.8m/s powered by solar energy. Over the next few years it was replaced with a few other models such as the NanoSol. Maybe solar is the way forwards for planes. I think it would take a HEFTY amount to carry weight though.

One Click Butter Cutter
The One Click Butter Cutter is a funky little device which makes cutting butter far quicker. The basic idea is that you load a block of butter in the top and then squeeze the device and a small slice is dispenced from the bottom. It saves space in the fridge and is far cleaner then a greasy butter dish.
The One Click Butter Cutter is available from their website named the same and costs $19.95 with varying shipping rates calculated on how many you ship, where and how. Its tempting as I love butter on toast, but hate trying to cut and spread it.
