A number of people believe that the iPhone 5 will be different to the iPhone 4 in terms of design. Some suggest that tapered edges (like the iPad 2) will be part of the design. Some think a slimmer model with a larger screen will be made. Some cases have hinted at slightly different dimensions as have other leaked details. But, we are hearing now that Apple could be keeping almost the exact same design in the new model.
iOS 5 GM Release Expected September 23
iOS 5 is expected to launch within the next month or so. We now hear that the iOS 5 GM release date will be in the last week of September which will then be followed by the official launch sometime in the middle of October.
iCloud Beta Included in Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 Beta
A new version of Mac OS X rolled out on Sunday evening to developers. The new version is 10.7.2 and with it, iCloud has been included. Although iCloud has been available on the beta versions of Mac OS X for a few weeks now, this is the first time that it has been included in to the OS rather than via another install package.

HTC Could Buy webOS from HP
HTC has confirmed that it is considering buying a mobile operating system. No particular OS has been named and HTC isn’t buying on impulse. However, one good option that I am sure they are looking at is webOS as HP dropped it in the past month.
New HTC Smartphone Announcement Coming September 20
HTC has sent out invites to an event being held on the 20th September. No specific details have been provided about what is being announced, but we’ve seen some smartphone details leak in recent weeks which includes the likes of the Bliss, Vigor, Amaze and Holiday which is what could be announced at the event.
Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Rumoured for September 15 Launch
Microsoft could be launching Windows Phone 7.5 Mango as early as this week. Rumoured dates have hinted at September 15 being the release date of the OS and we are now hearing more supporting evidence that confirms this to be so.
Video Game in a Box
Check out the video below which shows a physical side-scrolling game. The system uses a Teagueduino along with a scrolling paper obstacle course. Using a knob on the side of the cardboard box you get to control Mario jumping up and down to avoid the obstacles. The game speeds up the further you get in.
Nokia N9 Available for Pre-Order in Australia
The Nokia N9 has been made available for pre-order over in Australia at the Harvey Norman online store. Two versions are being launched which differ in capacities with the lower end having 16GB of storage and the upper model having 64GB of storage.
Android Jelly Bean Could Follow Ice Cream Sandwich
Each time a new version of Android is released, Google jump up to the next letter of the alphabet to choose the name of it. It started at version 1.0 (which was called Android) and was then followed by Banana Bread, Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread and Honeycomb. The next version has been confirmed as Ice Cream Sandwich and is due out in the next 8 weeks or so. We now hear that the version after that will be called Android Jelly Bean.
Google Docs Outage Explained by Google
Earlier this week on Wednesday the Google Docs service went offline. The outage lasted about 30 minutes and caused a number of people not to be able to access documents stored online.
Motorola Droid Bionic Teardown
The Motorola Droid Bionic has only just launched and iFixit has already managed to take it apart to see what goes on inside it. The Droid Bionic is classed as one of the most repairable smartphones that iFixit have ever taken apart. It shares the lead with another Motorola device called the Atrix. To get inside you just need a Torx T5 screwdriver and some long nails to separate the casing to pull it apart.
