The Sansa Express features a USB connector, quad line OLED display, FM tuner, voice recording which uses the built in microphone, 1Gb of internal memory with the option of adding a microSD card to increase it as large as they currently offer. With a nice look, impressive specs and very impressive price tag of just 59.99 dollars, this MP3 player could do well in the busy market.

The Samsung also features Bluetooth, 80Mb of internal memory and is a triband phone.

Wii Laptop

Wii Laptop
For those familier with Ben Heckendorn you will know of the cool and crazy hacking he does to consoles that are both of current and past status. There has been an XBox 360 laptop all the way down to an Atari 2600 handheld console. The list of these consoles is huge. To add to this list there is now a Wii Laptop which has just been created. It took the last month or so and features a 7 inch widescreen LCD, Stereo Sound, Gamecube controller port, a short range built in sensor bar and it’s all crammed in to a nice sized case. Urwerk Hammerhead 201

Unwerk201
I came across a cool watch today from Urwerk named the Hammerhead 201. The watch costs 25000 pounds and is one nice looking timepeice. The watch has telescopic minute hands that move in and out of the three rotating cubic hour satellites. What on earth that means I have no idea… but it looks good. More details can be found over at Gizmodo.

MyBlu – Linking Smartphone to iPod

MyBlu
If you have a smartphone and an iPod then the MyBlu could be for you. The MyBlu links your iPod to your smartphone and streams the audio to your phone which can be played through the handsfree kit. When a call comes in the MyBlu will pause playback so you can take the call. Also built in is an FM tuner which could be handy to use. There isnt much else that it does from the sounds of it, although Mavizen mentioned that they will be bringing out plenty of firmware updates. However, we do not know if these updates will bring more compatibility to new phones or actually add more features.

Sony PSP Keyboard – Homebrew Style

Sony PSP Keyboard
Since the launch of the Sony PSP (Playstation Portable) the homebrew world have been doing all sorts to hack in to this amazing device and they are doing a good job too… so much so that Sony keeps having to release the latest and greatest firmware to close up security holes only to find out that shortly after, there is another security hole to exploit. Madruscoe has managed to create a homebrew app which allows you to create .txt files on your memory stick by using the Palm(One) Universal Wireless Keyboard. The keyboard costs 50 – 60 dollars on Amazon and currently is the only compatible keyboard that this homebrew application.

The application allows each note (.txt file) to be 4Kb and the amount of files you can store is just limited by how many of them you can cram on to your memory stick. The video below goes in to more details about this and is well worth watching.

Samsung SCH-W559

Samsung SCH-W559
When using a touchscreen type device you may have noticed that you get no feedback from the smooth screen except for the occasional click if configured for sound. Samsung have introduced the SCH-W559 mobile phone which has an interesting technology from Immersions VibeTonz. This touchscreen technology gives feedback through vibrations and gives the sense of you actually pressing buttons instead of tapping a screen. This is an interesting addition to a phone and not something seen before.

The touchscreen is QVGA and gives feedback regardless of how you touch the screen, IE a stylus, finger or what ever. The vibration functions are fully customisable from on the phone.

Sony Ericssons SO903iTV Bravia

SO903iTV Bravia
Sony Ericsson are now making the Bravia mobile a reality. The phone named SO903iTV Bravia, is a clamshell type which comes in red, works in landscape mode, has a very large 3 inch widescreen display and a built in TV tuner. Sony have a habbit of getting users to use their memory stick format or Memory stick DUO, but with this mobile phone they are creating it to use microSD which is a welcomed change. The built in camera is 2 megapixels which is slightly lower then the 3.2 megapixels which we are seeing in other phones recently. Unfortunatly this phone will probably not hit Europe or the USA as it seems that it will be launched in Japan only. However, do not let this worry you as I am sure Sony will release similar models later in 2007 which will be launched out this way.

Another interesting feature is the screen which we believe will be the open up and swivel kind to allow for easier viewing of the TV and movie functions that are built in. No doubt more info will be released in the next month or so, and we will report as soon as we get the details.

Neo N7 GPS Navigation Device

N7 Neo GPS
The Neo N7 caught my attention today due to it’s large screen and interesting navigation software. The screen is 7 inches although it is only capable of 16k colours which is unfortunate as it would double as a nice movie player and picture viewer had it been capable of much more. Movies can still be played and the device has an SD card slot so that you can play movies off your memory card. Dual core processing is an option but pricing of this option is not currently available. Full specs are after the jump.
