Triple Watch Cellphone

I just love these concept designs from Yanko Design. The Triple Watch Cellphone is a wrist watch that converts in to a mobile phone. Seems more like a transformer watch. If used as a speaker phone it can remain on the wrist while driving.

MobiBlu DAH-2200 MP3 Player

The MobiBlu DAH-2200 is a decent looking player. It has 1Gb of onboard flash, MP3/WMA/WAV support. 13 hours of playback. It includes an FM receiver, voice recorder and the last and weird thing is the 2 headphone sockets I guess so 2 people can listen. I havent seen a device with 2 headphone sockets since my sisters bright Yellow Sony splash proof sports walkman.

We could get the Wii early

The Nintendo Wii (pronounced We) might be getting to us 2 months early according to Chris Morris of CNNMoney.com. The Wii is already being developed and is looking good for an early launch. The current official date is November 2006 still but it would be good to see it hit the shelves early as it’s drumming up quite a bit of interest around the world with it’s unique controller.

Thomson EH306, EM2600 and EM2802 MP3 Players

Thomson have introduced 3 new music players to the market. The EH306, EM2600 and the EM2802. The EM2802 stands out because of it’s thin metal case. It comes with 1Gb or 2Gb memory and a 1.5″ colour OLED screen. This is one device which will be competing with the iPod Nano.

The EH306 is a disc based player which holds a nice 6Gb of data. It has the same 1.5 inch screen. The EM2600 is just a standard player with half a gig or 1 gig of memory.

Alarm Volume Booster

I find as I get older that I tend to not hear my mobile phone trying to wake me up. Then I came across the home made volume booster. It requires a glass and a phone. Basically you stick the phone in the glass, and aim towards your head. Amazing 🙂

InVoca Voice-Activated Remote

Do you remember the early days when you had to stand up to change the channel on the TV and then the wired remote control came out and it was bliss. Then the infra red remote came out and it was even better because the wire didnt need to stretch the whole length of the room. We tend to get more lazier as something new comes out and this is no exception.

Not a problem with this new voice activated remote control. You can train it with 4 different voices and then tell it what to do. No doubt by 2020 there will be mind activated remote controls for those who are at that point, just too lazy to even talk and tell it what to do.
