Canon have announced a new firmware update for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II cameras. The new firmware update will launch in the next couple of weeks bringing more features to the digital SLR camera.
The new firmware will being the camera up to version 2.0.3 which will enable 1080p full HD video recording at 24, 25 and 29.97 frames per second. The recording will meet both PAL and NTSC standards.
As well as the HD updates the new firmware also brings a new histogram display to movie capture mode. Also sound recording levels can be adjusted with the camera.
It appears to be quite a decent update for the Canon 5D Mark II and one that will be very welcomed.
