Modu Phone Changes Functions with New Cases

moduModu have created a tiny phone that has interchangeable cases that allows different features to be used. Examples of cases could include a music based case that would move the phone to show more music features, or the GPS case which would allow for navigation to be used. The Modu phone is also the lightest phone.

As of now, four casings are available. The phone it’s self is quite basic in that it has just a 1.3 inch OLED screen, Bluetooth, (no wi-fi) and it isn’t even 3G. [Read more…]

NAVIGON to Release Subscription free iPhone App

NAVIGON_iPhoneNAVIGON are soon to be releasing their iPhone satellite navigation app. This app will also be subscription free which is always a bonus. NAVIGON includes maps of the USA and Canada (not Mexico) and comes in the form of a 1.29GB download.

British Red Phone Box Mobile Phone

The phone it’s self is fully functional and comes with a 65K colour TFT screen, a camera, SMS, MMS and GPRS/WAP 2.0. Maybe not the best of specs but who cares when it looks like it does.

LG brings it’s S-Class OS to a Desktop Widget

LGArena_KM900_PressPhotoLG do like their S-Class OS and want everybody to be able to test it out. To achieve this they have created a downloadable widget that allows you to play with the S-Class OS on your computer.

To get it working you just need to visit the “downloadable widget” link above and follow the on-screen instructions. Once installed you can then play around with the cube which features 4 different menu sections that includes Desktop, Widgets, Games and Multimedia. Windows Mobile Version HTC G2

htc-magic-winmoNormally when you hear of HTC and the G1, G2, Magic, Hero or whatever else you automatically think Android as those ranges of phones by HTC are specifically built for the Android OS.

We then came across the Windows Mobile Version HTC G2 and something about it just doesn’t seem right. The phone, which is pretty much a clone, will be powered by a Huawei K3 460MHz processor, support quadband connectivity on GSM and EDGE and the weird thing is that it’s Windows Mobile 6.1 based. LG Crystal GD900 Reviewed

lgcrystalPhoneArena managed to get their hands on the LG Crystal GD900 to take a look at. The LG GD900 most striking feature is that it has a transparent, touch-sensitive keypad that slides out from the bottom.

Rumors – iPhone 3G moving to Other Carriers in UK?

iphone_3gA rumor has started saying that Apple UK could be looking for new carrier deals. No doubt Apple and O2 will deny this for now but it seems like Orange and T-Mobile might be getting the older iPhone 3G on to their networks.

Now that the iPhone 3G S is here it makes the 3G more of an entry level device. If this is all true it could be classed as a smart move from Apple as O2 might not have been a network all people wanted to move to in order to get an iPhone. [Read more…]
