Adobe CreatePDF for iOS Launched
Adobe has launched a new app for iOS devices that lets you create and open PDF files. The description on the iTunes store explains that it “brings the same high-quality PDF creation as Adobe Acrobat to your iPad, iPhone and other iOS devices.”

HTC is likely to announce a new smartphone in London next week called the HTC Omega. The Omega is a Windows Phone 7 device that is rumoured to have have a 3.8 inch SLCD screen along with an 8 megapixel camera.

T-Mobile US Could Also Get the iPhone 5 at Launch
Yesterday we heard that Sprint in the US was going to be getting the iPhone 5 when it launches. With Sprint, Verizon and AT&T each getting the new device it left out the other major network in the US – T-Mobile. We now are beginning to hear rumours that T-Mobile USA will also get the iPhone 5 when it launches (estimated sometime in October).
iPhone 5 Going to Sprint
The WSJ is reporting today that when the iPhone 5 is released, it will also be made available to those on the Sprint network. If this ends up being a correct report then Sprint will become the third official carrier in the US to get the iPhone. This of course follows the original AT&T and Verizon networks.
Evernote for iOS gets Rich Text Support
Evernote has rolled out an update for both the iPhone and iPad versions of the app. The new iOS versions bring the much needed rich text support to Evernote. Since the launch of the app, this feature has been demanded quite a bit by users as creating a note on the desktop version and then opening it to edit on the mobile version would simply lose all the formatting (such as bold, italics etc…). This is a huge plus for Evernote on iOS users.
iPhone 5 Likely to be Dual-Mode for CDMA and GSM Networks
When the iPhone 5 is announced, one of the details that will likely be included is the device supporting both GSM and CDMA networks. Since the launch of the iPhone 4 on Verizon earlier this year that particular model has used a Qualcomm chip inside for CDMA. It is believed that Apple will use Qualcomm in a dual-mode device so that it is compatible on both types of networks.
Japanese iOS 5 Users to Get Earthquake Warnings
When iOS 5 launches it appears that users in Japan will be able to get earthquake warnings pushed to their iPhone. The new option appeared in the iOS 5 beta version and allows notifications to be easily switched on or off.
