Shooting games are great! Not because it’s a way to vent frustration, but more because it’s probably a pride thing knowing that you have a better aim then your best mate. The Buccaneer shooting game comes with a gun but doesnt actually shoot out anything. All is good though because of the built in infra red sensors on the target. When you shoot the pistol and you are on target then the infra red sensor detects this and makes the spring loaded plugs launch any object on top of the log in to the air. Sounds great! To add to it there is a nice “piioowww” shooting noise which ads that edge of realism to this.

Samsung K5
This is another player I love the look of. It is a small sleek looking device which has a nice illuminated front panel and some nifty slide out external speakers. The player has a battery capacity of 30 hours when using the headphones and 6 hours when using the external speakers. It will be coming out on the 10th September at $209.99 for the 2Gb version and $259.99 for the 4Gb version. A video has been posted after the jump which gives a nice review of the device and what it’s capable of.
The K5 boasts an FM radio and supports a number of formats such as MP3, WMA, WMA DRM10 and JPEG. It will be first coming out in black but later on they will ad a pink version to the line up.
The K5 also features a built-in FM radio tuner and supports MP3, WMA, WMA DRM10 and JPEG formats. It is available in black and will ship later in the year in pink.
The screen is an OLED touch screen which houses all the controls and graphic equalizer type things that make this look so fine. Enjoy the video 🙂

HP iPAQ rx4000
HP have launched an iPAQ which is based around the Windows Mobile 5.0 OS but as the picture shows below, it seems that they are wanting to promote the music and video capabilities of this device. I have always liked the Windows PPC platform to work with and I find they are very functional.
What sets the iPAQ aside from from your average HP iPAQ is that this device has more built in media type applications. It has been designed with the consumer in mind. The screen can rotate the image so that it can be worked with in either portrait or landscape mode. We expect this device to hit the markets at around $299.
Pantech IM-U140
The Pantech will be hitting Korea soon. The IM-U140 is a multimedia handset which has a 2.6″ wide screen (WQVGA) display which is touch screen. The camera is a nice 3 megapixels. Other features it boasts are a built in DMB tuner, 4-channel steror speakers, MP3, built in games and a dictionary. It’s not the most feature packed device to hit the market soon but it does look like a nice phone.

Atari Keychains
Atari have introduced keychain size old school arcade type games such as pong and centipede. There are 2 variaties to choose from, either the Centipede & Milipede version or the Asteroids version. Unfortunatly they really are a little on the large size to be classed as keychains, but still, it’s possible to use them that way :). Both unit’s measure 1.5″ x 2″ x 1.5″ and have a built in cable to connect to most TV sets. The device is powered by 3 AAA batteries.

Nokia N80 Internet Edition
Nokia are now bringing out the N80 in the form of the Internet Edition. It’s a 3 megapixel slider phone with a whole new range of software. Some of the features included are a spruced up Internet Browser, new software from Yahoo Go, Flickr, Amazon etc…
Also amongst all this is a cool SIP-Compliant VoIP which will be able to utilise the N80’s wifi support. Various other features can be found such as it being quad band. Apparantly it has the same hardware spec as the current N80 and it’s just the software that is better. This means there is a chance that you might be able to upgrade the firmware. No official word on that though.

Shockolate Chocolate Vault
Do you have a problem with eating too much chocolate? Self control can be hard to master. With the shockolate vault you need not worry any more and put this habbit to rest. The shockolate vault is a jar in which you put your chocolate and then the lid has metal contacts on in which if touched, you (or the thief) gets a shock 🙂 You basically take away the self control and then let the vault do the controlling. Nobody wants a shock now do they?
You can set the timer to 24 hours to help control your cravings too. Check it out now over at Firebox.com. It costs just £9.95

Sony Ericsson P990
The P990 is expected to hit the market very soon. This smartphone is truly amazing. It has more features then any other phone on the market and most of us tend to love more features as it cuts down the number of items you need to carry around with you.
Among these features is a 2 megapixel camera with auto focus. It has a second camera as it works over 3G networks and can make video calls. It has a QWERTY keyboard, memory stick slot and features an FM radio with RDS. It runs the latest Symbian OS (version 9.1) and has a nice 2.76″ TFT screen.
What I also love about this phone is it’s wifi support which will surely be a hit.

MP3 YoYo
The REGEN is a battery less MP3 player. You are now asking… how does it get it’s power? Of course you use it as a yo-yo to give it the power you need to listen to MP3’s. It can store up to 200 songs on it’s harddrive and has a touch screen LCD which you can select your music to play.
Expect to have to yo-yo around 10 – 12 throws to get enough power to use the device. The headphones are bluetooth so there is no worries about your yo-yo pulling them out of your ears.
X-Twin Bi-Plane
Firebox has put on sale another cool rc flying thing. Similar to the Picoz Micro Helicopter we reviewed a few days ago, this one is now a small bi-plane which has 2 props to keep it flying in the air. Nice little living room present I think 🙂
The Plane
It’s light… at just 20 grammes and has a wingspan of a mere 9″ (3″ short of a foot for those who struggled at maths). It’s made out of some type of foam. With it being made of such a lite material then those who struggle to keep this in the air will be glad to know it generally wont break if you crash the thing.
Controls
The X-Twin plane is easy to control. It has a smart handheld transmitter which also is used to charge the plane. It flys for around 15 minutes which is plenty of fun to be had.
Over all I am impressed with the new range of indoor flying things that are coming out. A couple of years back it was the mini cars (Bit char-g) and now they have taken it the next step on and allowed us to fly around the house 🙂 Ok, we could do that with the expensive toys but how quick would you break the toy and the living room if you tried that? 🙂
Go pick one up now from Firebox and have a laugh in your living room or in the office. To make it even cooler there are 2 frequencies available so 2 people can fly together. How cute!

ATI Radeon X1950 XTX
The latest and most powerful graphics card has been made by ATI. It’s the ATI Radeon X1950 XTX and it has a lot to be proud of. It boasts a 512Mb of 2Ghz GDDR4 memory, runs 48-pixel shaders and eight vertex shaders. What does all that mean? Well, it’s fast. Previous ATI high end cards suffered with a noisey fan but this has now been fixed. The price is a nice $449 which is not bad and very competitive with todays cards. A more indepth review can be found below.
Evel Knievel Stunt Set
Evel Knievel returns in the form of a toy! For those who do not remember who Evel Knievel is then where have you been? Evel Knievel was a stunt biker. He jumped London Buses, went down canyons at serious speed and jumped buildings. The toy from yesteryear was cool too! It sold like crazy!
The toy is back and now comes with a whole Stunt set known as the “Eval Knievel Stunt Set”.
It is made from the original moulds that were used previously. It comes with Evel Knievel and a removable helmet, his bike, energiser, adjustable ramps, hoop of fire (fire not included), a 14 pieve brick wall and other bits and bobs too.
The whole Evel Knievel Stunt Set is available for just £29.95. Another great toy to enjoy!
